| Dam Busters 70th Memorial Flight | |
Jeremy Gibson   1st Jun 2013 18:08:39 | If you are mad about Aviation then you most defiantly have heard of the Dam Busters, Operation Chastise and you may have even seen the old Black & White Film.
Tonight at 6:00 onwards Team Dauntless are proud to present our first ever event and we thought why not kick it off into good shape by hosting a Dam Busters memorial flight. It has been 70 years since the raid on the three German Dams, the Mohne, the Eder & the Sorpe Dam’s. We will be flying from RAF Scampton tonight at 7:30 - 8:00 PM. A flight plan is currently being created and we will all be flying in formation. If you are interested please join us on the Team Dauntless RAF server and join us on Team Speak 3 at td1.hopto.org I have left this announcement a little late but hope you can make it. Look forward to a great flight with you all. Lets make this a good one. We will also have ATC at RAF Scampton to bring us back into land. |

David Bartlam   1st Jun 2013 23:32:34 | Jeremy. As a member of the British Forces, I was interested in this event but you didn't advertise it early enough. Advertise a few ads before the event (add FSOpen on Facebook aswell) and you will get a few more people in.
