http://www.fsopen.co.uk/software/fsopenserver2/FSopenBeta.msi

If you have trouble with this file uninstall with control panel and use the normal download link.

You will have a new tab for teamspeak 3.

Follow these steps.
1. When you are in Teamspeak as an admin goto Tools and ServerQuery login. This will create a userid and password to enter on fsopen.

2. Your hostname is your normal address but without a port number on the end.

3. The TS3 queryport is probably always going to be 10011.

4. If the ip for your FSopen server is not whitelisted on TS3 then the connection can be banned for issuing too many commands at once (known as flooding). I've defaulted a setting of 3 commands per 10 second period.

5. Players radio coms are now listed in FSopen server. When a player changes frequency the server will look for any channel that ends with a matching number and moves him.

Assuming I change my plane to 118.20 the following channel names in TeamSpeak would work.

Gatwick Radar 118.2
EGPH GRND and TWR 118.200
ATC channel 1 118.20
118.2000

The following would not
Gatwick Radar118.2
EGPH GRND 118.200 and TWR 125.00

Enjoy!

Hello,

I've emailed Laurence letting him know of the update.

I tested it out on my own machine with a connection to FSXMultiplay.com 's TeamSpeak, Connects and runs without any problems. No banning due to flooding.

Its worth noting however, if you are not running a dedicated server and are flying on the same machine as that running the Server Software, when you change frequency you dont move channel.

Not sure if you plan on including that Dave, just pointing it out incase you forgot :-)

Its Good To See This Feature Being Intergrated!

Thankyou

Please try.

1. Make a new user on your server.
2. Promote user to server admin
3. This user creates a ServerQuery login.
4. Use this userid and password.

Does this work?

Dave,

Identify servers by port, not by serverid.

command would be:
"use port=" & port & ""

Tried it Steff, no permission.

Turns out they're using an old server. even though I got past this I then hit another problem. I think they'll upgrade to fix.

If they are running the server themselfs I'd be able to sort the permissions for them

It's not a permission problem, they need to upgrade ts3.
