Noticed today.. as I was running various weather conditions.. the Icon will only show "Fair Weather" or "Real Weather".
Not sure if it's just me.. or if anyone else has seen this?

I tried having different icons for each weather setting but it became so cluttered it wasn't clear what session was doing what.

The icon displays for real weather only, which is what 80% of sessions use. Anything else is blank and you need to look at the information section for the session.

Thanks Dave, NO problem. I agree on the clutter as the weather is ALSO shown in the "session info popup" (THE BLUE ICON).. which is what I was actually referring to (but poised the question improperly.)

In the Session INFO box... this appears to only pickup the weather as either "Weather: Real World Weather" or Weather: Fair Weather". I did see one session that had "unknown", for some reason. I assumed you were getting the weather flag for the sessions.. and passing that info to the info box. i.e. User Defined, Clear, Building Storms, Winter Wonderland, etc.

As most of the sessions run real weather.. possibly we may no longer need the actual "weather icon"... if the session info box is showing the weather info anyway. Just a thought.

A little more INFO... I just checked the existing session list again.... and I do see other sessions getting the weather info OK... I currently see 3 sessions.. reporting... "Building Storms", "Fogged In" and one "unknown". So this apparently is working OK.

However, I am currently running "Building Storms" and my session box is still showing "Fair Weather".

I went back into single player mode... changed weather to "Building Storms".. and saved as default flight.. then restarted the session and FSOpen again. No Joy. So, obviously some other issue on my end (again.)

I'll keep digging at the issue... would appreciate any hints.. as to what I may be overlooking.

Curley, You set this manually from a drop down box on the server!

Yes, affirm. That is what I was doing. As a test... I tried changing the "default" flight on the "server" with "building storms".. to see if that would correct issue.

However... The session is still showing the same. "Fair Weather"..

In addition.. I started my server WITHOUT a password... and the "Locked" icon is ALSO still appearing on the list. This should have removed the "yellow lock" from the session list.

I just connected to the session with the machine I fly with... NO Password required... and it shows "Building Storms" for weather, which is how the server is set up.

I have ALSO cleared browser cookies and cache, to see if that was "mis-reporting" the info on my side.

Dang.. wish I could edit.. what I posted.. I thought I deleted the stuff about the "LOCK" ... that is set in the FSOpen settings... Disregard that info.

Dave.. I apologize... I'm way out in left field.. Yes.. the BOX.. in the settings section...

I should have had a V-8. ALL IS OK. (except my brain)

Sorry to waste everyone's time... just working on a bunch of other things not elated to FS OPEN.. also.. lost focus there.... again.. "Operator ERROR" on my end. My apologies to you and everyone else.
