| FSopenserver2 not working | |
Pranav Chitale ![]() 3rd Jan 2013 07:32:42 | Hello
I am having problem in signing on to the FSopenserver2 client. All requirements are met but it always says that I haven't installed WinPcap. I have both of them in C/Program Files(x86) something like that. I have no problem in the pilot assistant application. I reinstalled WinPcap and restarted the laptop, after that I uninstalled and installed the FSopenserver2 application but still the same problem. Waiting for a reply. Regards, Pranav |
Dave Wave ![]() 3rd Jan 2013 08:21:47 | Install wireshark and see if that can listen to network traffic. Wireshark also relies on WinpCap.
If wireshak works then it's an fsopen issue, if not its a problem with your setup. |
Pranav Chitale ![]() 4th Jan 2013 14:58:45 | Ok I would do so but do I have to install WinPcap and Fsopenserver2 in 1 same folder? For example, A folder named FS Open will contain both files. If it is like that then I have not done it that way. |
Pranav Chitale ![]() 4th Jan 2013 16:04:44 | Is this new update for Fsopenserver2 Version 0.88 fixed with the WinPcap error? |
Dave Wave ![]() 4th Jan 2013 16:08:35 | There is no Winpcap error. It is your machine.
Did you try wireshark? |
Pranav Chitale ![]() 5th Jan 2013 09:03:36 | No but I am gonna download it today. Does it require any Service Pack? |
