The idea of the flight plan was to keep it simple. The flightplan you enter is for what you are just about to fly/flying now.

Why would you want the date in it?

Dave,

Have you considered a command to close a pilot's flight plan?

My question was to be able to have the date and the hour in the flight plan to be able to schedule(program) flights(thefts) later during the day

Flightplans are saved in the same table as a pilot when he joins a session. If a pilot is not in a session then the information is lost.

This makes it very simple to manage and means flight plans are only seen in the correct session.

I like simple :)

David,

I'll look at !FPC.

Are you aware that There is an option to delete a flightplan in pilot assistant and flight strips?

For ATC using strips its good to delete a FP once a plain has landed on destination so it doesenet get confuced with the other strips that is active. A Pilot should delete his FP himself when landing whithout ATC like in real world when you get a bill for SAR if you have forgotten to close the FP :-)
