Due on next release next week

1. Post a message in chat when a chat request is closed so player is aware that the server has ignored him.

2. Add restriction options to who can use ATC/ disable !Tower

3. Plus a few bug fixes.

I've also put a few tips up for anybody hosting a fsx session here.

Version 62 just released.

Contains a major re-write of some parts. You shouldn't notice any difference but should stop some false spawning kicks.

ATC restrictions to follow in next version.

Hello Dave,

I have been having a lot of problems with getting 'kicked' off the server recently, when I join while in the PMDG NGX.

It is a fully paid up version with all the updates done.

I am able to fly the PMDG Jetstream J41 without being 'kicked' but as soon as I switch to the NGX 'off' I go.

I am based in Khamis Mushayt in Saudi Arabia, in this country all internet has to go through some sort off country wide firewall so the officials can monitor what people are doing on the web.

I am wondering if because of this my NGX is throwing 'packets' at the server that is above the limit you have set for 'normal world' internet users? Is there any way you could monitor my packets while I am online one day so we could sort this out?

I never had any of these problems before this 'pirate catcher system' so I would like to get back to the old days.

Regards

Clive,

You will be kicked if you use about 3 times the network resource as a normal plane. The 737NG should be ok providing you've installed all the updates, some of which contained fixes for multiplayer. Also don't share your plane in multiplayer, another bandwidth hog! I'm going to ask Goffa to take this option of the server.

Drop me an email and arrange a date/time if you want me to monitor you. (Or catch Goffa in teamspeak)

Something else I've just realised, players sharing aircraft in a multiplayer session will also eat up bandwidth. Disable this option for the session if bandwidth is tight.

Oh! that was a quick reply, thanks.

I am two hours ahead of UK time so now it is 19:30 ish I can be on line at an airport of your choice in about 30 mins if you want?

Okay Dave,

I was able to get some checks done with Gordon... it looks like my computer is spewing out data! so I will pm you in the next couple of days to ask you for any assistance you might be able to give.

I will put all the details in the email...

Regards

Clive.
