I'm sure I'm missing something here... ???

I am attempting to use the Pilot Assistant Flight Plan and Maps, while connected to my FSX Carrier Ops multiplayer session. I am listed w/IP in the session. I am logged in with Pilot Assistant and it and shows - FSX Status: On Line

Getting this error: "Cannot find a matching player in the session with your IP Address. You may need to wait a minute."

Note: I can successfully file flight plans using the !F command. However, I would like to use Pilot Assist.
----

From the Download page.....
"Pilot assistant can be used in any session using our hosting software. (listed on the front page.)"

When I highlight the flight Plan and Maps it reads:
"You must be in the FSOpen multiplayer session to activate."

currently you cannot use pilot assistant of flight strips if you are on the same network as your server. Give me a day or to to come up with a fix.

Hi :)
I'm administrator of server EPWA ATC WELCOME. When I'm using FSopen Server I can't use Pilot Assistant, because I'm Getting this error: "Cannot find a matching player in the session with your IP Address. You may need to wait a minute." Can you do something with that or have any ideas how to fix it?

I did look at this but forgot to report back.
It is possible to work out that you are in a session but not which plane. This is why flight strips will work for you but not pilot assistant.

Please use !F to make a flightplan if you are on the same network as your server.

Ok problem is that Pilot Assistant worked earlier, but suddenly it stopped responding.
I have thought that problem could be my game options or something like that. Other players worked well, so I reinstalled FSX and whole system, but it wasn't good solution. I want use Flight Strips when I'm controller and Pilot Assistant when I'm flying on session. I need help :)
Can you make step by step instruction maybe?

What i was after... was myself, as well as my users... to be able to use Pilot Assist for access to the maps for airport info. This seems only to work on the FSOPEN session and not working for us on the FSXCARRIEROPS session.

As I stated... Currently using !F command is working properly... for everyone.... as we are also using the !hop option when I setup and activate on the server. All flight plans display properly on the session summery display page.... as expected.

Curley, this should work for all your users but not yourself because you are on the same network.

Try it in any other session.

You will be able to use the map in flightstrips, although only for the airport you are doing ATC at.

Wait...I have three computers. One of them hosts 24/7 session dailyATC(Currently not using FSOpen since I forgot to open it lol). On my other two computers I come to the session to be a pilot AND ATC. I use the flightplan thing to file my flightplan. But I don't. Reason? I can not. It says "Error: Can't find you in any of our sessions, Try refreshing after you have joined". Yes, I did refresh after rejoining.
I am not using the fsopen.co.uk flightplan area but I am using the embedded HTML thingi from my website. That time I did have my FSOpen up and typing the automated thingi. Yes !F works but not from that flightplan page. Here is the website with that flightplan thingi: http://dailyatc.webs.com/session-player-links.

Thanks if you would help me out.

If you are on the same router as the server then the only way to file a flightplan is to use !f in chat.
