Hi. started having problems with teamspeak volume today. Whenever I switch to another window, about 30 seconds in the volume of teamspeak on the volume mixer drops to about 10% and I can't hear anyone. This is getting really annoying now and wondering if anyone has a solution?

Will do. Probably just my computer acting up. Thanks for quick response, as always.

If your using windows 7, go to [control panel] then [hardware and sound] then click on [sound] and then the [communications tab]. Make sure [do nothing] is selected...

Hey James,

Make sure in TS that you haven't inadvertently enabled the plugin called "Volume Control". This can be found in the "Settings" menu drop down. Also make sure that in you TS "Options" on your "Capture" section make sure your "Echo reduces...", all the way at the bottom, is set to 10db.

Now, a windows check... hehehe... Did you know that in Windows you can individually set volumes for different programs and windows?

Start TS, when the volume reduction happens, click the speaker icon in your tray (by the clock, bottom right) and then click mixer. See what EACH program/windows volume is set to. FSX is LOUD! You may need to just pull the FSX slider down a bit.

et me know if that helps! ;-) Cheers....

Trying out these now.

Jon,

That's what i'm doing, but the teamspeak - specific volume drops to 10% every 5 minutes and I really can't be bothered doing that every 5 minutes. (lazy me)
